Hello, my name is Dorothy Rich and I am a female travel enthusiast. I love visiting new cities and tourist destinations and discovering hidden gems that are off the beaten path. I often travel alone, but sometimes I bring my partner or friends along for the journey.
One of my favorite places to visit is Paris, France. While the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre are must-sees, I like to recommend visiting the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. This hilly area is known for its bohemian atmosphere and is home to the beautiful Basilica of Sacré-Cœur. The views of Paris from the top of the hill are absolutely breathtaking.
Another destination I enjoy is Tokyo, Japan. While the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku and Shibuya are exciting, I also recommend taking a trip to the peaceful and traditional neighborhood of Asakusa. Here, you can visit the Senso-ji Temple, a Buddhist temple that is the oldest in Tokyo, and take a stroll down the charming Nakamise shopping street.
I also love to visit lesser-known destinations like the ancient city of Petra in Jordan or the beautiful islands of Palawan in the Philippines.
I always travel with my sketchbook and try to capture some of the scenes I see with quick sketches and notes.
